Next winter, take off the rear pegs, and the swing arm and have them powdercoated black. Would look even more awesome.

I dont think im gonna powdercoat ;) if you’ve seen plasti-dipped swingarms and pegs, they look just as good and hold up the same as powdercoating…for about $20. lol

Do you find that c5 muffler to be to loud? I just repacked mine and its gonna be up for sale soon as I don’t care to attract that much attention. I was hoping a repack would work but all it did was take out some of the rasp.

I have actually seen a video of a dude painting his forks and swing arm with black undercoating or bed liner spray and it gives it a nice texture and look and protects from anything kicking up from the ground and scratching the bike.

As one who has done their rear swingarm with a bed liner spray i would say it is fantastic and looks beautiful……although my bike is matte black so i would say that would depend on the owner preference and bike color.

I think a bedliner spray would look sick…did you do it on the bike or off??

I made this thread then forgot about it! damn!! heres some pics of the bike, I just got a couple of goodies in the mail today! gas cap cover and some new swingarm slider spools!

I think you should switch to the chrome one and sell me your black one!!! ;) I’d LOVE to be able to find a black one for sale so I can just swap them out and not have any down-time..grr…

haha yes however laziness has gotten the best of me and I would be so meticulous about the chrome being clean that I cannot allow myself the trouble….down time is the most difficult thing, you will find yourself buying stuff for your motorcycle that you dont even need….i.e. a chrome swingarm

I have seen them on ebay for about $50-$100. I want to buy one and powder coat it blue for me. Same reason. No down time. I can’t go too many days with out riding!

That’s the worst. I found the right color IT (clear alternatives-blue) but didn’t buy it. Usually they get reposted but not this time… the others available are just not quality!

I’m considering doing the “plasti coat” after seeing a local guy who blacked out his whole bike with it and it does look really nice…to OP, nice looking tribal, Thought about getting one before I found the deal on my red 06.

Dude, what is your problem? You are talking about how bad people are at 600RR.net, and here you are, doing the same thing you said was the reason that is ruining that other forum. I am trying to be friendly here, and I am int. in where you got that part since it looks good the 600.
