    If I am still fairly beginner rider only on street atm. Should I upgrade tires to q2s or just wait until I need new tires to get those

    If your current tires are good then you should wait to get the q2s

    As long as you have life left on your current tires and you are happy with them, save your money and wait until they are done. If you’re loosing grip or not confident with your current tires please change them as soon as you can.
