94 f2 here, pops out of second gear. From what I understand, this is a common issue. My question is, having a good spare engine and gearbox, is it easier/faster/more economical to rob shift forks, drum and such from the spare motor and replace them in the motor/gearbox that resides in my frame, or swap engine/gearbox in its entirety? Either way, it’s a chore, just trying to save as many headaches as possible. Any help or opinion is surely appreciated, as I have very limited time to work on my bike. Just want to make the most of it. Thanks gents.
