So i decided to start my build thread now. I bought my 09 in March as a left over from the dealership so i got it with 0 miles and it was put together the night before i picked it up bone stock… So its been a few months and i finally decided to pull trigger on some mods…

here is a quick list of Mods i ordered as I am wiating for delivery…

    Toce performance t-slash slip-on
Hotbodies Racing Dark Smoke Wind Screen
    CbrHeaven FE and flushmounts
same grips as @mactacular off egay haha woo
im also going to be picking up some Hi temp engine paint and painting the SS exhaust pipe black as well as some plasti dip and im going to dip all the silver parts black

currently also looking into a matte black wrap before i plasti dip the entire bike.

pics will come as delivery happens

Very nice! I thought about doing the same with my exhaust since I already have black high temp paint. Ive done a few nuts and bolts metallic gold.. Im tempted to do the rearsets and rear pegs black but I haven’t yet. I think powdercoating would be sweet too. :)

Looking Good Christopher, How hard is it to plasti dip. I wag thinking about doing some hydrodipping on some of my pegs and levers, a buddy of mine has done a few things for his truck and it seems real easy, But i never heard of plasti dip.

Wow brought back from the dead… Umm well as far as the plasti-dip on pegs… Yea dont do it, it wont hold up to vibrations and feet, I ended up letting a local shop powdercoat them. I have also since added a bazzaz Z-bomb, tuner tinted windcree, bumped up to Driven D3 grips, and 2wheels levers, I will post some new pics later this week maybe as im about to order my Driven Chain kit this week and maybe some other goodies, Also i never painted the exhaust but i do plan on removing that servo and somhow getting the cat removed and wrapping the exhaust.

I’m really digging the look on this bike. The new grips and levers are hot, and the rearsets just seem to look lke they are floating out there. Nice touches.

@dubv There is a guy here in Fredericksburg that does outstanding coating work. Advanced Coating Solutions, depending on what you want done, the shipping prob wouldnt be too bad from WV to here. The guy has done all kinds of work on alot of my friends scoots.
