    Well here it is, I like my booze and like to make drinks for my friends and have been a patron of several fine establishments. I like my Whiskey , Scotch , teqilla , rum and some vodkas. The girls in my circle really seem to like a few of these so i thot this thread could be usefull. Feel free to add some of your concoctions for drinks , both simple and complex. Before i begin this i must be clear {NEVER DRINK AND RIDE!!!}

All stocked up! I’ll have to make up a few of our favorites.

We are into wine and my wife’s favorite thing is great wine under $15. Limited here in Mississippi (State controlled liquor). We run to Slidell a lot for different wines. Here are a few we always have on hand.

    Cupcake Red Velvet $10-12
    Apothic Red $10-12
    Layer Cake Primitivo (Zinfandel) $12-14

@bambam Let me know if you want any more suggestions. We are huge wine drinkers. Comes with working in restaurants my whole life. Everyone has different tastes of course but if you like those let me know. If you don’t, or if you tell me what you like I can send you in a direction that may help.

My shot of choice (besides Vodka) – A baby Guiness.

Pour a half shot of Kahlua and top it off SLOWLY with Baileys Irish Creme.

Goes down like a piece of caramel.

My personal favorites are beer, tequila and whiskey. My favorite mixed hard drink is a bartenders rootbeer……Kahlua, Galiano and soda water or you can use coke.

This is a great Irish Whiskey its strong but with a good taste . I like it on the rocks with about 15 minutes of ice melt, no need to get greedy here, a single shot over the rocks with the ice melt is perfect for sippin.

Long day at work + holiday baking = COCKTAILS!

    1oz Ciroc Red Berry
    1oz Stoli Citrus
    2oz homemade sweet and sour
Shake vigorously, strain into martini glass

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

A great sweet and sour at home:

1 can each of frozen lemonade and limeade.
    Pour into a pitcher
Only use half the allotted water. (4 cans water for both cans of juice)
    Instant sweet and sour!

mmmm XR- so smooth!. Have you had Crown Maple yet? It smells like pancake syrup. It’s great in Dr Pepper or make it into a Praline sauce for bread pudding. We’ve been doing that for our Steakhouse.

    Nice pick up @inkslingerxx

More baking = more drinking. Tonight’s specialty “Vanilla Sky”
Fill a pint glass with ice. Add:
    1oz Vodka
1oz Blue Curacao (we used a sub similar to Hpnotic)
    1/2 oz vanilla syrup
    Re-ice
Top off with equal parts sweet & sour and pineapple juice
    Shake and strain
    Enjoy!

    Margarita time

Of course there are many ways to make a margarita but for me it is important to have a good sweet & sour recipe and add fresh lime to each drink. Of course proportions are key.

Fill a pint glass with ice
1.5oz tequila (we had El Jimador this time)
.75oz triple sec (for a cool twist use Blue Curacao to make a blue marg.)
    re-ice
top off with sweet & sour
    squeeze one to two limes
    toss into shaker
rim glass with lime, roll in salt
    toss back into salted glass

Lots of options for mods on a margarita. Float .5oz amaretto for an Italian, .5oz Grand Marnier for a Cadillac, .5oz Chambord for a sweet twist

This is a simple , great tasting sippin whiskey for those that need a sweet approach to whiskey.
This is JackDaniels “Tennesse Honey”, ive got to say , this is a fantastic tasting booze. I dont drink more than one due to the fact that i like Honey and dont want to risk gettin shitfaced sick and never liking the taste of Honey again, lol.
I pour it over ice and let it water down a bit .
real good stuff , Jack Daniels did this stuff right.

Loaded Landshark: For those who enjoy a lime in a Corona or Landshark, substitute a shot of lime flavored vodka or rum for the slice of fruit. Be careful though, these will sneak up on you.
