I’m a brand new member. I have just bought a CBR500R, even though I’m not through my test yet, so I,m just having to look at it and not ride atm. I love it tho, it’s in the new black and orange racing colours ?.
Anyway hi all
Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum!!
How long before you get to ride it?
You shouldn’t follow my example, but I rode my 1st bike on a motorcycle learner permit for 4 months before I got my full mc license. . I bought my 94 F2 and couldn’t just let it sit there all alone. . I hope you have stronger will power than I did. . It all worked out in the end because the 4 months of riding experience helped me on my road test when I got my full license
Congratulations and welcome to the forum @bikergirl. Post a picture or twelve of your ride. We are all pic whores here; love looking at the bikes of other members.
I’m really struggling how this forum works lol. Not sure if my reply got through, so doing it again. This is my baby, and no I had no willpower ? Ive already ridden it ?. But passed my theory and now booked in for practicals at end of June. I love the bike soo much, really hope I get through first time.
Your post did come through. .
I didn’t want to pay the big bucks for the private class so I bought my first mc in July and didn’t get to take my class until November. . . Luckily is was somehow in the 70s when I did take the class(usually it’s between 20 and 40 in November here). The community it colleges in Virginia offer a motorcycle safety class which costs less than half of most of the private companies that do it, at least around here. . . Nice bike!
Well, I was going to welcome you to the group and talk about your bike. Looks like I already have. Ooops. That is a nice looking bike @bikergirl! I’m partial to orange and black as well.
Gulp this is the week of THE bike test. Nervous af!!
I have training on Thursday and then the MOD 1 test on Friday.
Mod 2 test Tuesday.
Eeek keep everything crossed for me!
Good luck. Don’t over think it and have fun.
