Allright ladies and germs. The time has come for me to start looking for a new lid. Due to budget constraints I am looking at the Icon alliance and the Bell vortex. Revzilla had some good reviews on both of them but they just read specs. Does anyone own either of these lids and can comment on the usual stuff? I.E. fitment, quality, quietness. Thanks in advance.

Basically; if you find good deals online – go to a nearby store and test out several helmets and note the size of your choice – and then buy it online for a cheaper price.

I would if I could but it seems that no stores here carry them.

I hear ya. I know revzilla has free return if you get the wrong size. Im pretty sure I’m a medium size in just about any helmet based on measurents and hat size. Im just not sure on my head shape. I think intermetiate oval but I’m not sure.

First thing you do is rip out the liner.

Then look for the date inside.

    Then you’ll understand.

Helmets are like eggshells, they expire.

It’s important to realize why they’re on clearance.

Being able to get replacement visors is important.
