New registrations on RideCBR.com will require a REAL email address. Mailinator.com and other disposable email addresses will not be allowed to register. THIS INCLUDES YAHOO AND HOTMAIL EMAIL ADDRESSES.

90% OF ALL SPAM comes from Hotmail, Yahoo, and Disposable Email Accounts.

To try and stop that, we are blocking new registrations with these email addresses.

    Thank you.

That makes a lot of sense, plus i know my yahoo account was broken into by the problem child we have around here, if the account is that easy to get into, I dont want one. If any members actually use a yahoo email i would seriously consider getting a more secure one.

    Good idea,

Anything that helps is a good thing.

Too bad that it must come to this.

Do we need to make a change if we registered with one of those emails?

You should change it anyway, as those are not super secure.

If you’re using a yahoo email, I would highly recommend a change.

If you registered with a yahoo email address, you’re fine.

    This affects only new registrations.
