Had some bad luck yesterday.. went with the girl to the farmer’s market and parked the bike for less than 15 minutes while grabbing some grub.. came back to a note.
Called the number and the guy seems cool enough. Was apologetic and said he will pay for it. Can’t really be mad.. it could have been a lot worse. If I parked differently he would have hit the side and would have been much worse.. or he could have been a dickhead and not leave a note. It will hopefully work itself out.06/25/15 at 6:27 pm #68608
Guy paid for the damage today. Going to order up some more parts :-) Tons of pictures coming in the next couple weeks.06/25/15 at 9:13 pm #68612

Good deal man! Glad he paid you06/25/15 at 10:50 pm #68616
Me too.. Not sure if i’m going to order the left fairing or just jb weld it from the inside. It’s not noticeable AT ALL. Might even buff out the front fender it’s not too deep. We’ll see how it comes out.
Maybe go carbon fiber for the front fender?07/02/15 at 10:17 am #68791
Bike’s in the shop. I hope I have it back for this weekend to take pictures with a pro photographer friend of mine while she is available. Had to get my inspection (ended June) and I developed a strange head shake/bounce. I’m assuming the front wheel is off it’s bead or is out of round after the accident. We’ll see.
I hate dropping my bike off at a shop. It’s like sending your kid to a sketchy camp.11/03/15 at 10:55 am #70860
George, I’m just now catching up on this build, and found a lot of picture links not working – what’s the scoop on this thing currently?

The bike is coming along great but the things that need to be done next are above my head and require shop time. I’ve been so busy with my business lately that I haven’t been able to bring it down. Going to take the swingarm off and other bits and powdercoat them and I have new lines, new carbon parts, and a couple other goodies to put on and then she will be done. She will also be getting a new chain, new sprockets, and a full dyno tune.
Going to be taking her to a bunch of shows next season, but still riding her when I can to get stress out and hit up the picture game. I also have 5+ write ups, a new RideCBR reviews section, and a bunch more that is in the works and almost ready. Tons more pictures are in those articles. I’ll post here when they are on the site as well. Just been so damn busy lately.11/05/15 at 3:11 am #70891

@admin Damn that thing is looking sharp! Love the parts and Im a sucker for a black bike. I intended on painting mine black, but after having white for awhile I think I may stick with it.
And those blinkers are awesome.. I want some. Lol
TST Industries you said? I may have to see if they have them for the 600rr

@borderline4laska The side lights are for a 600rr but they fit the 1000rr with some clear silicon around them. Looks great and the blue matches my front lights perfectly. Blue all the time and only orange when the turn signals are on. Love em. Plus they are bright as hell and I can see them on the ground and so can other people (always a good thing).
@jnsracing LOTS more to come.. just trying to find more time.01/20/16 at 1:20 am #71657

Even more carbon fiber parts, new powder-coating and then dyno tuning the beast.01/20/16 at 12:39 pm #71674
