I need to powder coat my rearsets and rims. Anybody knows how much it costs?
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
My buddy bought all the stuff needed at harbor freight and does it at home. Well he put an electric oven in the garage. I think im goingbto try the same thing one of these days
As far as price. I did a jeep frame for $350 so its got to be less than that. Haha
I looked into it. Don’t have the room or willingness to get an oven lol
Have you called any shops in your area for an estimate? Thats where I would start.
Why don’t you guys do anodizing? Usually the places around me are cheaper and it’s lighter.
does anodizing last as long @Nam
We can powder coat, we are very competitive with local places with pricing and the time frame to get parts back including shipping time. Consider we also specialize in motorcycles so we know the parts that can be coated and what can not. No job to small or large.
I’ll be in touch when I pick up my bike, I want to powdercoat 11 or 12 pieces in gloss black.
Where are you located? I run a motorcycle repair shop and we need a new powder coater……
I believe hes in Florida
@admin I got Tripage to powdercoat some parts over the Winter and I would say def go with him. Quick turn around and excellent quality. It was also cheaper/roughly the same for each part including shipping costs.
I payed $250 for all 4 pegs and wheels..what did you end up paying?
@admain , what did you end up paying…..arent you in the triad area? if so, i bet we can get a discount if we go in togeather to tarheel powdercoating in greensboro….he told me 300 bucks to media blast both rims and swingarm and then powder swingarm and powder 2 diff. colors onto my wheels….i have put in my order with fatalcycles, i cant wait till i get my fairings man
