So I had some issues with my tag bracket. Here is where I had it.

The problem is that every once in a while the bolt on left will work loose (the one on the right is no longer there). The other day it became so loose it turned 90° and cut through the insulation on the tag light. Grounding it out and blowing a fuse. The fuse also goes to the speedo and rear running light. It also hit the rear hugger and broke it off and bent up the plate and bracket.

My Hyperflow exhaust came with 2 “L” brackets to fit the plate. I’m not a fan of where the new location is but it will prevent any more problems. There is one small issue with this setup. There is no light for the tag. So I had to fab one up. I wanted it to be small and incognito. Here’s what I came up with.

    Here’s the new location

The light is tucked between the cans and pretty tough to see.

Easier to spot with the lights on

As some of you know I had some issues with bar ends… here’s the short. I lost an OEM bar end @yanahmean got me a nice set of spike one for my birthday to replace them. I neglected to Loctite them and lost one of those. Plan B: get bar end mirrors and make a Gopro mount out of the mirror block off. Bar end mirrors didn’t go so well…. which brings us here.

I ordered a set of Driven Racing D-Axis bar ends like these:

They seem to be well made and look great, but….

I had to make them DubV style

And I definitely used Loctite this time!
