I have to admit, it looks fun. It is fairly easy on the eyes as well.

Sportbikes have fairings and plastic body parts for a reason. They are clean looking This bike is too busy for me, but it’s probably an awesome bike.

Also, Way too many nooks and crannies to hold dirt and bugs. Nooks and crannies are great on waffles and English muffins, but it seems like Yamaha went through the trouble of making a naked bike, then put a shitload of mismatched clothes on it.

The reason why people buy Harley’s is because they look like a machine, not a reject from the hasbro factory.

Compared to the CB1000R this Yamaha is childish.

I’m going to surmise you don’t like it lol.
I was with you until the Harley part then you lost me.

Personally I wouldn’t buy one either but I don’t mind the look.
Variety is the spice of life .. nooks, crannies, English muffins and all.
p.s. Many sportsbikes do come in naked form. Each has it’s pros and cons.
