I’ve had my current F4i for 3 years and have never had the need to winterize it because I ride year round, with the exception of snow or when salt or sand has been put on the roads. Since I’ve been riding my ST 1300 this winter and not my F4i, it’s going to pretty much sit until April. Any tips on winterizing? It had an oil change near the end of the summer and I have it on a battery tender now. Should that be good enough or is there any thing else I should do?

How long will it be sitting for?

I would disconnect the battery, fill the gas tank (use a stabilizer if it’s going to be sitting for a long time), over fill the tires a bit to keep it from flat spotting, and plug the exhaust to keep critters out of there, and cover just the top with some towels. A full bike cover provides an inviting home for rodents.
